I: Combining RFID and Business Intelligence Technologies in Healthcare—Paul Grill, President & CEO, InfoSol, Inc.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has begun to find its way in to the healthcare industry in recent years primarily for the purposes of security (e.g. tagging newborns in maternity wards to track their unauthorized removal). Likewise, Business Intelligence is also being adopted by more and more healthcare institutions for the purpose of analysis of data to make better business decisions. Combining these two technologies provides some interesting and powerful options in healthcare.
This animated presentation discusses and demonstrates some of the possibilities and how they might be applied in healthcare environments today.
